Assistive Devices

At Home Clinix, our occupational therapists are dedicated to enhancing the independence and quality of life of our patients. A key component of this mission is the recommendation and training in the use of assistive devices. These tools can make everyday tasks more manageable and improve safety and mobility for those with various physical challenges.

Types of Assistive Devices

Assistive devices encompass a wide range of tools designed to aid in daily activities.

Our therapists work closely with patients to determine which devices will best meet their needs and then provide training on how to use them effectively.

Insurance Coverage and Affordability

While some assistive devices may be covered by insurance, many are not. This can make obtaining necessary tools a financial burden for some patients. At Home Clinix, we strive to make these devices as accessible as possible. Our therapists can:
